Weekly Clarkson SARS-CoV-2 Seminar Series to begin Wednesday, April 29

The Clarkson Institute for a Sustainable Environment and Clarkson Ignite announce a new seminar series focused on the SARS-CoV-2 virus transmission, impacts, and mitigation. Many faculty and staff at Clarkson University and Trudeau Institute have pivoted their research programs to address outstanding questions related to the COVID-19 outbreak. Topics include solutions for pressing issues associated with personal protection equipment (PPE), workplace safety and pandemic preparedness, understanding human emission and transmission of the virus in the aerosol phase, genetic evolution of viruses, and viral immunity. This weekly series begins on Wednesday, April 29, 3-4 pm with Douglas Bohl, PhD, AEMT, Associate Professor in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering at Clarkson University, presenting “PPE Issues and Solutions: Perspectives of a First Responder Engineer.”

Seminar Schedule: All seminars to be held pm Wednesday 3-4 pm via Zoom.
