Please join us for the third annual Clarkson Ignite Graduate Research Fellowship (IGRF) competition 9:00 am on Wednesday, May 20 via Zoom.
Each year Clarkson Ignite hosts the IGRF for competing interdisciplinary faculty teams. Winners of Clarkson’s IGRF competition receive funding to recruit and support talented PhD students on interdisciplinary research projects that will potentially impact society at national and international levels.
All proposals were peer-reviewed by internal and external experts for scientific merit, societal impact, feasibility, and fundability. An internal selection committee used these expert reviews to select the final nine semifinalist faculty teams. On Wednesday, May 20, these nine teams will have three minutes to pitch their projects to a panel of four renowned judges, followed by four minutes of question and answer from the judges.
The presentation order and approximate times appear below, all are welcome to view the presentations, however questions will come only from the judging panel.
