Engaging in Fall 2020 re-opening planning and implementation

Summer is here and Fall 2020 is coming faster than we think.  Understanding that things remain fluid we do have to have a plan.  We want to engage as many of our community members as we can in a few different ways as we move from high-level planning to detailing actions and implementation steps.  Below are just a couple of upcoming ways to engage over the next few weeks.

1.  The Office of the Provost and the Office of Diversity and Inclusion will host four “Future Look Fall 2020” scenario planning exercise sessions.  The exercise brings faculty, staff, and students together to examine, from a future perspective, the drivers of success or failure of a ‘plan’ for re-opening in Fall 2020.  We need your experience, expertise, and wisdom to uncover hidden gems and traps, to discover when it is possible that decisions should have been made but weren’t, and to illuminate the drivers of success and failure and how we can better ensure the former and not the latter.
