Collaborating for a Safer Community
When a crisis hits, communities often survive by coming together to share support, resources and expertise. Clarkson faculty and staff have certainly been doing their part during the pandemic by collaborating with the local healthcare system to devise solutions that enable enhanced, safer COVID-19 critical care. Exploring COVID-19 Transmission
As the global community scrambles to better understand the coronavirus, researchers from Clarkson University and the Trudeau Institute have responded to a call from the NSF for proposals to investigate the spread of COVID-19. Led by Clarkson Professor Byron Erath, they will explore how the virus is transmitted through air dispelled during speech. READ MORE
Corning Incorporated Supports Research
Professor Mario Wriedt has received a grant from Corning Incorporated for his research on electrically activated molecular assemblies. With this funding, he and a team of graduate and undergraduate students will explore the rational design and synthesis of molecular assemblies. READ MORE
Excellence in Engineering
If someone is commended not once, but twice, by the country’s preeminent engineering honor society, they must be doing something right. We’re proud to say that someone is Professor Sitaraman Krishnan, who received the Tau Beta Pi Faculty Award for his work in promoting integrity and excellence in engineering. READ MORE
