  • Positive Case and Quarantine Updates
  • Clarkson Commitment

Golden Knights,

Resuming In Person Instruction:  We look forward to resuming in person laboratory sessions starting tomorrow and other lecture courses on Wednesday.  Faculty will provide further information for any changes in these plans for individual courses.

Positive Case and Quarantine Updates: Among students who returned home to finish public health mandated quarantines earlier this month, six reported a positive test result today to the University and two have already been cleared as recovered.  With these results, the University Care Team Members are now supporting 53 students both on and off-campus with an active case status and 92 who remain in public-health mandated quarantine both on and off campus.

The Clarkson Commitment: The ability to minimize disruption of the academic experience during a global pandemic requires dedication from the entire University community. We each must be cognizant of our own actions and how our interactions can enhance the health and safety of others in our community. Our Clarkson Commitment motivates us to do all that we can to create an environment where everyone is safely able to participate in the wide range of activities available at the University. If you have not been taking the precautionary self-quarantine seriously,  please do not interact with your peers and reach out to StudentAffairs@clarkson.edu

I’m strong because I’ve been weak. I’m brave because I’ve been afraid.  I’m wise because I’ve been foolish.  — Unknown.
