Ignite Gallery and Dorf Makerspace Activities for Break Days
Clarkson Ignite will be showcasing programs and events at the Ignite Gallery in the ERC on Tuesday, March 9th and Wednesday, March 10th from 9 am until 4 pm each day. Students are encouraged to visit the stations to learn more by talking to students who have participated in the programs in the past. Six stations will be highlighting the following: Dorf Makerspace, Digital Making Suite, North Country Regional Business Plan Competition, President’s Challenge, Badges and Micro-Credentialing, and the Shipley Center for Innovation: The CUBE.
In addition to the Ignite Gallery, the Dorf Makerspace will have mini-workstations for in-person activities such as designing and creating face masks, creating COVID-19 hands-free door openers, and making tic-tac-toe sets – just to name a few activities available to students! Everyone will be required to social distance and wear face masks – hand sanitizer will be available at all stations. Light snacks will also be provided to our student visitors. We hope to see everyone there!
