| The Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) has a non-scientist member service opportunity for interested faculty and staff. Clarkson University recognizes its responsibility to ensure the humane and appropriate care and use of all live vertebrate animals used or intended for use in research, research training, experimentation, biological testing, or teaching. Therefore, the University has established and provides resources for an Animal Care and Use Program and an Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) that oversees the program, facilities, and procedures. The IACUC meets semi-annually (April and October) to review protocols and the program as a whole.
