For many years Clarkson has pursued the Take It or Leave It program on campus. Every year we do so, we divert tons of reusable items such as furniture, clothes, school supplies, etc. from the landfills. This program encourages students to put their items in these tents in effort to give their old items a second life rather than send them to the dumpster. Students are welcome to take any items up for grabs from the tents.
Having said that, volunteers are needed to help divert these donations from May 7th-17th! For a slot that works for you, sign in using your Clarkson email with the attached link. FACULTY, STAFF, & STUDENTS can volunteer. Unfortunately, nobody outside of the Clarkson community is allowed to volunteer at this time due to COVID-19 regulations.
Volunteers help with:
- Transporting materials from small tents around campus to main tent
- Sorting and displaying items in main tent

Dates and times to help are included on the volunteer sign up. Volunteers should meet at the large tent located on the south lawn behind TAC unless otherwise told to.
