Black Chair in Commerce at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His research focuses critically at the intersection of business ethics and stakeholder engagement and workers’ rights and appears primarily in the journals Business & Society, the Journal of Business Ethics, and Business Ethics Quarterly, where he also serves as Associate Editor. His current projects examine the role of multi-stakeholder initiatives—particularly those comprised of NGOs, civil society organizations, and labor unions—in developing labor governance structures for global supply chains, and how supposition of merit and equality impact justice initiatives in businesses.
