11 members of Clarkson’s Student Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) recently attended “WE Local”, the annual regional conference, April 8-9 in Buffalo, NY. WE Local offers members the chance to gather with hundreds of women in all stages of their careers to network and learn, through keynotes, professional development courses, a career fair, and other fun and inspirational networking events. This year’s Clarkson group commented:
“We have only been here for one day so far but have networked with countless professionals. We are learning so much and can’t wait to bring back these skills to Clarkson and apply them to our future. Of course you can’t forget the friends we are making along the way!”
