The English Conversation Corner Program is a ten-week program, sponsored by the Academic Support and Student Engagement office (formerly Student Success Center), starting on September 6, 2022, and ending on November 11, 2022. The program is scheduled from 9:30 am to 11:00 am every Tuesday and Thursday. To accommodate the needs of all participants and to better serve our students on the CRC and Beacon campus, we will provide a hybrid program that will allow students to participate both in person and online.
The Program aims to provide students non-native English speaking students with an opportunity to enhance their academic-based English language skills in a comfortable learning environment. The English Corner Program provides a forum for international students and Clarkson students to further their understanding of global and cultural practices through dialog, presentations, and issue-based debates. Accordingly, students will enhance their understanding of, and ability to work with, culturally diverse environments.
