Message From the Dean

Greetings from the North Country! Our early fall has been filled not only with brisk sunny days and the verdant beauty of the countryside, but also with opportunities to delve deeply into topics of research and innovation. As the students returned to campus, we wrapped up seminars, conferences and travel and welcomed our Golden Knights back to the classroom. The semester will see some new faculty appointments, which we describe below. We are also sharing some of our recent faculty accomplishments. Tackling the Supply Chain

The need to solve supply chain problems is especially critical right now. How apt, then, that our supply chain management program hosted its 20th annual executive seminar for corporate professionals interested in rolling up their sleeves and learning how to tackle such issues. And this year, the seminar was online, allowing for participation from around the globe. READ MORE

Faculty Achievements

This past year was a fruitful one for faculty in the Reh School. From publishing and presenting their work, to offering their expertise both in the media and in the classroom, they have accomplished extraordinary things. Mousavian Honored

Professor Amir Mousavian, the director of the engineering and management program here at Clarkson, was recently honored with the title of David M. Spatz ’68 Director of Engineering and Management Endowed Chair. An award-winning educator and researcher who also holds numerous other director positions, he is the perfect fit for the job. Making an Impact

While Professor Golshan Madraki has been busy performing innovative research in the Reh School, she has also greatly impacted students across campus — so much so that she was appointed associate director of the Honors Program. She is no stranger to the program; in fact, the Honors students awarded her the 2021 Kristen Craig Memorial Faculty Recognition Award. READ MORE
