The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers is having its traditional semester Empanada Fundraiser, which will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 26th in the Student Center from 11 am – 2 pm. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards our members’ travel to our National Convention, which will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina this year. The SHPE National Convention provides unparalleled professional opportunities, experiences, and connections. The Career Fair in particular has supported our members in securing internships, co-ops, and full-time positions with industry leaders in engineering, business, and many other industries. A portion of our proceeds will additionally go to Hurricane Ian aid relief in Puerto Rico. We welcome everyone to come and support SHPE and get some great food!
