HOLA-CU (Hispanic and Latino Association at Clarkson University) is hosting an event this upcoming Tuesday, Dec 6th. known as “Dia de las velitas” (The day of the little Candles). This is a widely celebrated holiday in Colombia. People light candles to welcome Christmas and honor the virgin Mary. There will be Christmas carols, karaoke, candle lighting (electronic ones), and food will be provided.
