November 2, 2021 Election Day is fast approaching!
If you want to know who can vote, how to register to vote, where to vote, when to vote, or what is on the ballot, explore some of these resources.
Most of the information below pertains to voting locally and in NY state. If you do not vote in NY, check out one of these sites to get to the election information you need:
In New York state there are candidates running for a variety of local offices as well as five statewide ballot proposals.
What if I cannot get to the polls on November 2nd?
- Early voting in person is allowed in New York state in the ten days before an election. This is October 23-31, 2021. If you vote early, it is not necessarily at your usually designated place. For St. Lawrence County residents, one of the early voting locations will be at the Clarkson University Facilities Building at 42 Maple Street (between Stewarts/Sunoco and Kinney Drug).
- Absentee Ballots: There is a little time left to apply in person for an absentee ballot and get it postmarked by November 2nd. The deadline to apply online or by mail has passed.
