Marc Compeau Appointed Reh Family Professor of Entrepreneurship Practice at Clarkson University

Marc Compeau, Professor of Practice of Consumer & Organizational Studies and Co-Director of the Reh Center Entrepreneurship in the David D. Reh School of Business at Clarkson University was recently appointed Reh Family Professor of Entrepreneurship Practice.

Reh School Dean Diego Nocetti says, “This appointment recognizes Marc’s accomplishments as a teacher and entrepreneur. The appointment also reflects the Reh School’s commitment to providing an exceptional, hands-on educational experience, as well as the ideals of David D. Reh and his family, who understood the importance of elevating the excellence of Clarkson’s exceptional faculty.”

Compeau shared, “Meeting Dave Reh in 2010 had a tremendous impact on me as a teacher, educator, and entrepreneur. Dave embodied all the characteristics we try to develop in our students, a tremendous, goal-driven work ethic while also having true empathy for those around us. It is such an honor to be given this appointment.”

Compeau came to Clarkson in 2000. He teaches courses in entrepreneurship, management, leadership and marketing among others. He was the founding director of the Reh Center for Entrepreneurship at Clarkson, and founded several other small businesses, he spent many years writing a column for Forbes magazine as well.  He and his wife also own the popular local restaurant, Jake’s On The Water.
